Ron explains his intentions for this series:
“The Light of Zen is my latest series in a continuing exploration the interaction between image and haiku through various mediums. This time it is my love of photography and presentation techniques and design. I wanted this series to pay homage to the quality of light that could be captured at certain times in the day and seasons, and also developed through various workflows.
I hope the haiku reflect these qualities, as they lean toward the more sparse and minimal aspects of haiku writing. This creates space for the reader to interconnect with the imagery and haiku so the moment can be fully realised.
