DailyHaiga: CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
DailyHaiga is looking for submissions of up to 10 haiga/submission, to be considered for publication. Contributors are welcome to submit new work every two months. For details please click on the link to submissions. Submissions are evaluated quickly so responses can be expected within two weeks.
Our aim is to showcase some of the best of English language haiga—an artistically meaningful digital or scanned image integrated with haiku or related poetic forms—so please send what you consider to be your best work. Selected pieces will be presented, one haiga each day.
The current invited series for DailyHaiga will come to an end in November, to be followed by general submissions. We have received many positive comments about the work that has been published to date, as well as the elegant format and the daily publication schedule. We hope you have been enjoying the journal and the quality of the haiga as well as our easy navigation and sophisticated search functions.
Please note that we only consider previously unpublished haiga with unpublished artwork/images, although they can incorporate published haiku or other forms, which allow creation of new haiga with haiku/haibun/tanka or other forms that could not otherwise be published as a haiga.

DailyHaiga Circulation: Based on Google statistics, DailyHaiga has over 1000 different viewers per month, about 6000 visits per month and over one hundred individuals who consistently follow the site. July had 32,000 hits, August had 21,000 hits and September numbers have already exceeded those in July, perhaps reflecting returns from summer vacations. Clearly viewers are frequently looking at DailyHaiga, so published haiga will have extensive exposure. We are thrilled with these numbers for our brand new journal site.
