I see you better
when you are nowhere
to be found—
a summer-resistant
snowflake on my shoulder

middle of the garden
a butterfly exploring
the allium flower

black clouds
chasing a muddled bird
with no mate—
if i turned around
you might think I’m crying

rain showers—
orange peel
on the hot asphalt

Viennese waltz—
a caterpillar waving
on the window pane

hand by hand
in the twilight park
a chestnut
meets our silence
once in a while

Cinnamon moon
guiding us
on the road to Athens
