trapped
in the depths of your eyes…
like an ant dropped
from the stratosphere
my fate remains unknown

tired of alexa
and the buzz of gadgets
stepping out
into the sun

music
electric
dance
wild
inhibitions nil
…i,m on a pill

distant memories
linger
but yesterday’s hazy…
like the landscape flying past
in the train window

remember the time
we used to build
hills on sand
strange fate
ending up as neighbors abroad

butter sputters
on the cast iron
summer thunderstorm

fireflies
everywhere…
when in dark
i wish my grey cells
fired as much
