a cup of sun
in some quiet place
windows of thought

unable to capture
that fresh-faced look
of innocence
I resort to trickery
and outright deception

behind me unseen
all the figures of my dreams
gather and scatter

sled dogs
pulling by moonlight
4 wheeler
in tow
subarctic mushing

If I can sail upon this water
I can return
upon this sky
