suddenly backs off

a rose is a rose

just a flower
it grows not knowing
it cannot

to tylko kwiat
rośnie tutaj nie wiedząc
że nie może

winter morning
in a snow drift
magpie with a broken wing

emergent cliff
heading across the soggy sand
and in this tin-like landscape
only an empty nest

wyłaniający się klif
zmierza po grząskim piasku
a w tym cynowym pejzażu
tylko puste gniazdo

I curl up into myself
unplanned pregnancy

kulę się w sobie
nieplanowana ciąża

meadow of jasmine
white and fragrant as
your skin
the thin glow
of a rising sun

winter sun
caps aslant
children smile
