Zsolt L. Rakusz (Hungary)

Zsolt L. Rakusz is a Hungarian poet and visual artist based in Budapest. His work moves between hybrid prose and haikai forms shaped by Japanese tradition, attentive to the small shifts and quiet thresholds of everyday life. His writing has appeared in Prune Juice Journal, with haiku and senryū forthcoming in Modern Haiku, Kingfisher Journal, and Cattails. In 2026, his haiku was named a Laureate in the “Arthropod Recyclers” category of Penn State’s international Hexapod Haiku Challenge.
