Dagmara Wieczorkowska lives in Wrocław, Poland. She finds inspiration for her haiku mostly in birds, using dreamlike sensibilities to capture fleeting encounters with feathered creatures. She usually pairs haiku with her own illustrations. In 2021, she published her debut collection, Ptasie Haiku (title in English: Bird Haiku). Her works have been featured in Polish magazines and haiku journals, including Przekrój and Papierowy Żuraw.
