C. Fred Ungar is a fourth grade teacher, currently in his thirty-fourth year. He enjoys creating haiku, senryu, and haiga, studying the balance between nature, humans, and the urban environment in which he lives. In addition to poetry, C. Fred referees basketball, bird watches, and modestly collects art and baseball cards. He resides in Brooklyn, New York and shares his abode with Honk Kong Phooey and Yoda.
