Oana Aurora Boazu lives in Galati city, Romania. She is a business analyst in a dutch engineering company. She started writing haiku as a challenge, in 1999, and since then it has became a way of living. Loving also photography, writing haiga was the next natural step to take. Hd work has been published in many haiku journals, such as Frogpond, Mainichi Daily News, Herons Nest, Sketchbook and Capoliveri International haiku contest anthologies. She received The 14th Mainichi Haiku Contest, Japan, Honorable Mention in the international section, 2010, 8th International Haiku Contest – Ludbreg, Croatia, Honorable mention, Jan. 200, and International Haiku Contest “One Thousand Cranes” – Iasi, Romania, Third Prize, Nov. 2008.
